Welcome to the website of the Organization for Open Source Embedded Measurement Systems (AOEMS).
AOEMS is a non-profit association founded in May 2020.
Its goal is the creation and promotion of open source tools and technologies in the field of measurement electronics that can be inserted into their environment in a lasting and harmonious way. We hope that the fruit of our work can be inserted in unexpected, unusual areas. From permaculture soil measurement to alchemy through research laboratories.
You will find on this site in particular a blog reporting on the progress of the project and a wiki on which the project documentation is placed.
Feature articles will be placed on the site pages or directly in the wiki on a case-by-case basis.
We are targeting applications supporting emerging needs such as soil measurement for permaculture, the manufacture of laboratory instruments for universities, etc.
Thus, energy consumption, reliability and reusability are parameters taken into account upstream of the design of an application, that is to say at the time of technological choices.
A criterion for success is the ability to provide solutions for groups with limited resources. In other words, put with reach of all reliable and advanced technologies.
